Terms And Conditions – effective May 12, 2025
These Terms and Conditions (“TOS”) are effective as of May 12, 2025, and are subject to exclusions and limitations. These TOS are between Canaquip Inc. (“Canaquip”, “us”, “our” or “we”) and the original customer named on the invoice, bill of sale, or estimate (“Customer”, “Customers”, “you”, “your” or “yours”). Return Policy
All items purchased from us and our affiliates are subject to this Return Policy. Save and except items that are marked as “final sale”, “clearance”, “closeout”, “non-returnable”, or “non-refundable”, all other items may be returned at the Customers' expense for exchange or store credit within 30 days of the purchase, provided they are returned in the exact condition in which they were purchased from us. Returned items eligible for store credit will be subject to a 25% restocking charge and must be in their original state when returned. It is the Customer's responsibility to know the warranty & return policy details of each item being purchased before payment. Please check the items carefully before payment.
To start a return on eligible items, you can contact us at sales@canaquip.com. We will give you detailed information on how to return your items and will also be able to assist you with the return process. Eligible items for returns must be in their original packaging, unused, and without damage. Receipt or proof of purchase must be included with your return package or at the drop-off location.
Any costs for disconnecting, repackaging, and shipping products back to our store are the responsibility of the Customer. If you are having trouble shipping items back to our warehouse, please contact us and we can assist you in arranging shipping.
NOTE: Commercial products might be prone to minor scratches, scuffs, and other cosmetic defects, which are common. While residential products prioritize aesthetics over quality, commercial products value quality and durability over aesthetics.
Store Credit
For eligible items that are returned within 30 days of purchase, Customers will be issued a store credit that can be used easily for future transactions and has no expiry date. No cash refunds will be issued. For any store credit in relation to an online purchase, please contact us at sales@canaquip.com and we will take care of that.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery or pick-up and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. This will ensure we can resolve the problem as quickly as possible for you. Upon receipt of the items, you agree to inspect the goods for defects, damage, or discrepancies within 24 hours (the “Inspection Period”). If any issues are found, you must notify us in writing within the Inspection Period. If no notice is given within the Inspection Period, the goods will be deemed accepted.
Exceptions / Exclusions / Non-returnable items
Any opened, damaged, or used items are not eligible for returns. In addition, large items and appliances cannot be returned and are final sale. These large items and appliances include, without limitation, the following: refrigeration units, freezer units, ovens, stoves, cooking ranges, cabinets, display cabinets, preparation stations, tables, racks, and dishwashers. Many problems are small enough to be fixed over the phone, so if you are experiencing any issues with your unit, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-833-630-6630.
Exchanges
For exchanges on eligible items, please contact us to make the exchange within 30 days of purchase. We do accept exchanges by mail, as damage incurred during shipping can affect the exchange process.
Limited Warranty
Subject to the exclusions and limitations noted herein, and unless otherwise specified, new appliances and equipment (“Equipment”) sold by us come with a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects, except for any compressor part in any refrigeration unit, which is covered for one (1) year against manufacture defects (the “Warranty”). The Warranty is not transferrable from the original Customer and is void if the Equipment is moved from the location where it was originally delivered or installed.
In order to make a claim under the Warranty, you must provide us with your original proof of purchase a description of the defect, and pictures of any issues or defects as may be requested by us. The Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover any damage incurred during shipping, any damage due to abuse, misuse, mishandling, or regular wear and tear of the Equipment, for example, broken doors, broken locks, damaged table legs, or damaged glass.
If a manufacturing defect is covered by the Warranty and a claim is made by the Customer during the time that the applicable period during which the Warranty is in effect, Canaquip shall, at its option, repair or replace the defective product or refund the purchase price paid by the Customer.
The Warranty will be void if the Customer or other person not authorized by Canaquip makes any modifications, repairs, or alterations to the applicable product, including changes or modifications done to the digital controller by the Customer or any other person, or if the products are installed by a person other than a certified electrician or other person not duly qualified to install such equipment.
Limits of Liability
In purchasing any products, the Customer expressly agrees that Canaquip and its affiliates and their respective employees, officers, directors, and agents shall have no other liability or obligation, including without limitation for any food spoilage, loss of business, or any consequential or other damages, howsoever caused.
